Undie alert! David Beckham debuts latest H&M bodywear ad

These David Beckham-H&M ads just never get old.

And it will take the Ministry a long time to tire of the soccer star in various states of undress for the sake of fashion.

In his latest wordless ad for the Swedish retailer, the soccer star is seen behind the scenes modeling in a locker room, giving smoldering looks to the camera and smiling as his perfect hair is groomed as he models boxer briefs, tanks and ... actual clothes. Like long-sleeved henleys and pants. (Blasphemy!)

Steamy photos from the campaign appeared on H&M’s Instagram account Monday and Beckham’s official Facebook page early Tuesday. The brooding YouTube video followed soon after.

The heavily tattooed British athlete is currently promoting his fall 2013 bodywear collection with H&M, with the ads set to appear on billboards and in magazines on Thursday, according to Perez Hilton.

“I love the heritage athletic style of the new pieces in my Bodywear collection at H&M,” Beckham, 38, told the Daily Mail. “The vests, pajama pants and raglan sleeve tops are already like wardrobe favorites for me that I know I’ll wear all season long.”

“It was great to shoot them in an old-fashioned East End changing room. It was like I had gone right back to my roots.”

The former captain of England’s national team announced his retirement from soccer in May after 20 years in the sport, then hung up his cleats for good during his final game with club du jour, Paris St.-Germain. He previously played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and bolstered the state of major league soccer in the United States after a championship-laced stint with the L.A. Galaxy.

The last time we saw Beckham in his skivvies, he was busy running around the streets of Los Angeles while his body seemed to reject nearly every garment he was wearing. The short film was directed by Madonna’s ex Guy Ritchie, to whom we are forever grateful.
