Emmy-winner Viola Davis lists her longtime home in Granada Hills for $1.2 million
It’s out with the old and in with the new for Viola Davis.
The Emmy-winning actress, who recently bought a new house in Toluca Lake, has put her Granada Hills home of more than a decade on the market for about $1.2 million.
Built in 1991, the two-story home features a formal entry with a sweeping staircase that opens to a living room with a fireplace. A formal dining room in red sits off the living room area.
An updated kitchen with a 120-bottle wine cellar, a family room with a wet bar, five bedrooms and 4.25 bathrooms also lie within more than 3,900 square feet of living space. In the master suite, a two-way wall fireplace divides the bedroom and a separate sitting area.
Outdoors, the quarter-acre grounds center on a saltwater swimming pool complete with custom lighting, waterfall features and flagstone seating. A built-in barbecue/bar sits adjacent to the pool.
The property last changed hands in 2005 for $1.17 million, records show.
John Mazziotta of RE/MAX Olson & Assoc. is the listing agent. The exact list price is $1,199,900.
Davis, 51, has appeared on the drama series “How to Get Away with Murder,” for which she won an Emmy, since 2014. Her other television credits include “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “United States of Tara.”
This summer she portrayed the tough Amanda Waller in the comic-book blockbuster film “Suicide Squad.”
