Diana Ross plans nine concerts at Venetian Las Vegas next year
Grammy-winning singer and actress Diana Ross returns to Las Vegas for nine concerts at the Venetian next year. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
“The Essential Diana Ross: Some Memories Never Fade” will open Feb. 8 at the Venetian with additional performances on Feb. 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, 22, 24 and 25. The curtain rises at 8 p.m.

Ross, 72, sold out 18 shows at the Venetian last year.
Her 2017 residency comes 50 years after Ross gained top billing as the wildly popular Motown group the Supremes was renamed Diana Ross & the Supremes. The group’s two-record set “Greatest Hits” was released in 1967 too.
Ross’ success continued after she went solo in 1970. Her hits include “Endless Love” (with Lionel Richie), “I’m Coming Out,” “Touch Me in the Morning” and “Upside Down.”
Ross holds a number of honors, including Billboard’s Female Entertainer of the Century Award and the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. She has also been inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
