Cosmopolitan Las Vegas to add 21 (that lucky number) tower penthouse suites
Can the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas get any cooler? Apparently so. The hotel-casino plans to add 21 penthouses to its Boulevard Tower that promise big skyline views, big spaces to stay (2,000 to 5,000 square feet) and a gaming space exclusively for penthouse guests.
The interior designer for these luxury suites? There are three, according to a hotel news release. Each will create the look and feel for seven suites.
New York-based Tihany Design, as in Adam D. Tihany, most recently worked on interiors for the Four Seasons hotel in Dubai’s financial district and the Seabourn Encore cruise ship.
When it comes to color palettes, Manhattan-based Daun Curry plans to use “ochre, coriander and blush tones” in her suites, the release says. Hotel designer Richmond International turns to two room color themes: teal and cobalt blue.
The private gaming salon, which Tihany will design, promises to have the feel of “a distinguished Art Deco style men’s club.”
The penthouses are scheduled to be completed by early 2017.
