China! Peru! NYC! Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals on tours, hotels, airfares and more
Is there no end to the Black-Friday/Cyber Monday shopping madness?
Apparently not, at least not this year. Online travel retail companies, same-day travel apps, hotels, tour outfitters, cruise lines and airlines all are having sales after Thanksgiving.
With that in mind, here are some sales that could make planning your next vacation easy. Have a look and happy bargain hunting!
For your bucket list: Luxe tour outfitter Abercrombie & Kent is putting 11 private journeys on sale starting Cyber Monday (Nov. 30) through Dec. 4. You’ll find up to half off on privately guided tours to the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu, Angkor Wat and other destinations.
Some examples: A week in Thailand starts at $1,495 per person (down from $2,595); nine days in India costs $2,495 (down from $3,595); and a week in Peru costs $3,195 (down from $4,295).

REI stores are closed Thursday and Friday to encourage Americans to explore the outdoors in its #optoutside campaign. Still, REI Adventures is offering $500 off a San Juan Islands MultiSport Trip to Washington state.
The original price is $2,699 per person, based on double occupancy; book from Nov. 30 to Dec. 6.
Friendly Planet offers up to $500 off tours to more than 40 countries including Cuba, the Galapagos, Nepal, Patagonia and others. The online-only sale starts 9 p.m. PST Sunday and lasts just 24 hours.

For your flight time: You can get two-for-one airline tickets on Allegiant Air between Los Angeles and Telluride, Colo., this winter for skiing, boarding or plain old snow play. Prices start at less than $110 round-trip.
You must travel by March 27 and purchase between Black Friday and Dec. 18. You must call to get this deal; debit card users get a better price than credit card users.

Fiji Airways offers flights starting at $899 a person from Los Angeles to Fiji, Australia and New Zealand. Airfares are discounted 40% for travel between Jan 23 and March 22. The 48-hour sale starts Sunday.

For your sleep time: What’s your perfect price point for a worthy hotel room? Here are some examples of what you can find for $99 and a little bit more.
--Dream Midtown in midtown Manhattan offers $99 rooms for Dec. 20-25 and Jan. 1-March 31. Make reservations online using the promotion code “thanks” on Cyber Monday.
--Silversmith Hotel in downtown Chicago offers $99 rooms on Cyber Monday only. Use the promo code “cybr” to get the deal.
--Joie de Vivre hotels launches a Cyber Monday sale with rooms starting at $150 a night. This group includes eight hotels in San Francisco -- including the Galleria Park Hotel and the Hotel del Sole -- and 13 others in California. (Note prices for the Ventana Inn & Spa start at $300 and Carmel Valley Ranch start at $250.)
Travel is good through March 31; sale is on 9 p.m. PST Thursday and ends at 11:59 p.m. Dec. 1.

--Thompson Hotels’ Cyber Monday Steals features rooms starting at $250 a night, through some properties may have lower prices. The hotels have the same booking window and travel dates as Joie de Vivre (above).

--Hard Rock Hotel San Diego in the city’s Gaslamp District puts rooms on sale as low as $99 a night from 12:01 a.m. PST on Nov. 27 through midnight on Nov. 30 (Black Friday through Cyber Monday). Use the promotion code “bf2015” for stays through Jan. 31.

--Howard Johnson is offering 60% off room rates at 20 hotels on something the hotel brand is calling Orange Wednesday (Dec. 2). That’s a deep discount for stays through March 2. Hotels include the Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground in Anaheim and the Howard Johnson Manhattan SoHo in New York City.
The sale runs from 9:01 p.m. PST Dec. 1 through 8:59 p.m. Dec. 2.
