The organizers in charge of the Super Bowl halftime entertainment were apparently crazy in love with the job Beyoncé did when she headlined the Super Bowl XLVII halftime in 2013. Pepsi confirmed to the Associated Press Thursday that the 34-year-old Houston native will return to perform at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show as well.

Coldplay announced last month it would perform during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Feb. 7. It is expected Beyoncé will perform alongside the British band, though it has not been confirmed.

Beyoncé is featured on the track “Hymn for the Weekend” on Coldplay’s most recent album, “A Head Full of Dreams.”

When Beyoncé sang during the 2013 Super Bowl halftime, she was joined by Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to perform some of the band’s older hits.

The Super Bowl halftime show has a history of surprise collaborations dating back more than 30 years. Stevie Wonder and other special guests joined the Judds, Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker and a handful of other country musicians for the final song during the 1994 Super Bowl halftime show in Atlanta.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have joined Bruno Mars. Aerosmith shared the stage with ‘NSync, Britney Spears and Nelly. Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash played with the Black Eyed Peas.

It appears Beyoncé and Coldplay are now set for the next edition of cross-genre collaboration.

Katy Perry’s performance last year, featuring Missy Elliot and Lenny Kravitz, was the most-watched halftime show in history with 118 million viewers.
