The Lakers added to their roster over the last week.

Summer-league standout Marcus Landry signed a non-guaranteed contract on Monday.

Second-round draft pick Ryan Kelly inked on Friday, although his deal isn’t guaranteed as he struggles to recover from a foot injury.

Recent signings Shawne Williams and Elias Harris have partially guaranteed contracts of $100,000 each.

How well will the Lakers do this season?

Steve Blake believes the Lakers will exceed expectations. Former Laker Metta World Peace said he believes the team will win the Western Conference.

Coach Mike D’Antoni is just looking forward to a “normal” season.

To make the playoffs, the Lakers will need to be better than seven of the 15 teams in the Western Conference.

Taking a look at the competition in a 14-part series, the Lakers may not be as good as the Oklahoma City Thunder but are better than both the New Orleans Pelicans and the Phoenix Suns.

The Lakers unveiled their new “Hollywood Nights” alternative black jersey, which will be worn in select games this coming season.

A Kickstarter campaign was launched to fund a Steve Nash documentary.
