Lakers preview their new ‘Hollywood Nights’ black jersey
In addition to wearing the sleeved jersey on occasion this upcoming season, the Lakers will also don a new alternative black uniform.

The team released a sneak peek via a brief Instagram video clip.
The uniform, nicknamed “Hollywood Nights,” is black with the Lakers’ traditional purple and gold as trimming.
The team starts the regular season Oct. 29 at home against the Clippers.
The Lakers are expected to first wear their white, sleeved jersey on Christmas Day as they host the Miami Heat.
