Julio Urías snapped off a slurve. Bryce Harper swung through it. And Dodger Stadium organist Dieter Rhule immediately pounded his keys.
As Harper returned to the dugout, the catchy “Welcome Back” theme song echoed around Chavez Ravine.
It was directed toward Harper, who was making his season debut Tuesday night just six months after an offseason Tommy John surgery.
The jingle, however, worked as a fitting tune for Urías’ performance in the Dodgers’ 13-1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies too.

Gavin Stone arrives at Dodger Stadium ahead of expected Wednesday debut
The Dodgers still aren’t saying so publicly, but all signs continue to point to pitching prospect Gavin Stone making his major league debut on Wednesday in the team’s series finale against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Stone, a 24-year-old right-hander ranked as the No. 4 player in the club’s farm system by MLB Pipeline, arrived at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday as a member of the taxi squad.
And while manager Dave Roberts still couldn’t confirm the team’s pitching plans for Wednesday, all indications remain that Stone will get the start in what will be his first MLB game.
“Obviously we’ve seen what he can do on the minor league side,” Roberts said. “To get him here in this environment during the season, I think, is beneficial in itself. Ultimately if we decide to pull that lever, it’s gonna be fun for all of us.”
Roberts did confirm that Clayton Kershaw will start the Dodgers series opener against the San Diego Padres on Friday, following an off day Thursday.
That will leave Dustin May — who originally was on line to pitch Wednesday — to start on Saturday instead.
May is not believed to be dealing with any injuries. And while Roberts hinted the team is factoring in workload considerations amid their rotation reshuffle, it’s also possible the Dodgers are trying to line up their best pitchers to face off against the Padres for not only this weekend, but also in the clubs’ rematch next weekend back at Dodger Stadium.
Monday recap: Dodgers use four home runs to defeat Phillies
Following a slow opening month marked by numerous absences in the lineup, the Dodgers were hoping to look more like themselves at the plate this week.
After all, they actually had almost everyone back.
So far this homsetand, that’s been the case, with a mostly full-stregnth Dodgers offense coming to life again Monday night in a 13-4 blowout of the Philadelphia Phillies that moved them into first place in the National League West for only the second time in almost a month.
