Death of man found near Bella Terra mall is ruled a suicide
A man whose body was found Tuesday near the Bella Terra mall parking structure in Huntington Beach died from blunt-force trauma, and his death was ruled a suicide, authorities said Friday.
The Orange County coroner’s office suspects the man killed himself by jumping from the parking structure, county sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock said.
The body was found near the loading docks of a Burlington Coat Factory store across from Costco at about 3:50 a.m.
Huntington Beach police determined Thursday that the man had been reported missing from Westminster. His name has not been released.
