1-year-old girl’s death in Pomona not suspicious, official says
The death of a 1-year-old girl in Pomona does not appear to be suspicious, Los Angeles County coroner’s officials said Tuesday.
Paramedics went to a home Monday morning in the 1200 block of West 8th Street after receiving a report of “a female, 1, that was not breathing,” said Robert Diaz of the L.A. County Fire Department.
The girl was identified as Unisi Vave.
No cause of death has been determined, and an autopsy has yet to be scheduled, said Los Angeles County Coroner Lt. Cheryl MacWillie.
“There’s nothing suspicious” about the girl’s death, she said.
