LAPD officers fatally shoot man in front of Bel-Air home
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting in Bel-Air early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a report of an assault on a utility worker at 3:30 a.m. at a home on the 1200 block of Stone Canyon Road, police said at a news conference.
KTLA News reported an officer fatally shot a man with a gun in the front of the home. LAPD officials did not provide further details.
Roads in the area are expected to be closed for several hours.
Neighbors told KTLA News that an elderly woman lives in the home and her son resides in a guest house on the property.
