Juvenile arrested in alleged sexual assault on Culver City Metro line
A suspect wanted for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman outside a Metro rail station in Culver City has been arrested, police said Friday.
Police had been looking for the attacker since Oct. 9, when police say he followed a 31-year-old woman off the Metro Expo line at La Cienega and Jefferson Boulevard and sexually assaulted her on the sidewalk.
Police said the suspect is a juvenile and would not release his age. He is being held at Central Juvenile Hall, Culver City police said.
The attack occurred near National Boulevard and Eastham Drive, Culver City police said.
Police declined to provide the suspect’s name because he is a minor.
