Three-alarm fire engulfs abandoned building in City of Industry
Los Angeles County firefighters responded Tuesday to a three-alarm fire in the City of Industry.
The fire was first reported about 10:20 a.m. in a large abandoned building off 9th and Clark avenues.
Within an hour, the entire building was engulfed in flames and the structure was on the brink of collapse, officials said.
It was unclear if the blaze had spread to nearby buildings.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
