Bulldogs stolen from family’s yard twice in three months
A San Bernardino County family pleaded Friday for the safe return of their five bulldogs stolen from their yard.
Four French bulldogs and an English bulldog were stolen from the Juarez family’s yard this week, marking the second time in three months the family’s pets have been taken, KTLA-TV reported.“We love them, we cherish them, we treat them like our own kids,” owner Miriam Juarez told the TV station. “We were very devastated, our kids were devastated.… They were crying. We were all crying.”
The dogs were taken between 1 and 2 a.m. Wednesday, KTLA reported. The family said two French bulldogs had been taken three months ago.
The dogs have won several trophies at shows, the family said. Police are investigating the incidents as possible grand theft, a felony.
Anyone with information is asked to call (909) 915-5597, or the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
