An actor who stars in the HBO show “Ballers” is mourning the loss of his brother, who was gunned down last week in Willowbrook.

London Brown, who plays Reggie on the football comedy series, marched with mourners Sunday at a candlelight vigil for his brother, Wendall Lee, a recent graduate of Colorado State University-Pueblo, KTLA-TV reported. Lee aspired to join the NBA and planned to try out for the Lakers’ development team D-Fenders.

Lee, 25, was standing with a woman in the 12200 block of Elva Avenue shortly after 11:45 p.m. Sept. 21 when a vehicle with four people in it pulled up to them, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

A man exited the vehicle and shot Lee. He returned to the vehicle, which drove off south on Elva.

Lee suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died. Investigators are still looking for the gunman.

“The people who are out doing these things, someone didn’t reach out to them early enough — to help prevent these things from happening,” Brown told KTLA.

The university’s Athletes Department described Lee as a league standout.

Lee played 55 games, scoring 522 points during the two seasons he played with the university’s men’s basketball team.

“It’s always sad when you lose someone, no matter how old they are, but to think that Dell died with so much music left in him, is a sad thought to consider,” Basketball Coach Ralph Turner said in a statement.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Lee’s family pay for funeral costs.
