Detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the rocky waters of Ballona Creek.
The man, who has not been identified, was found floating near the jetty in the 6100 block of Ballona Creek in Playa del Rey, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He was declared dead by medical personnel.
Divers with the department’s Special Enforcement Bureau helped homicide detectives recover the body.
