3 killed, 1 rescued in crash in Arcadia neighborhood
Three people were killed and another person was rescued from an overturned car that lost control in an Arcadia neighborhood early Tuesday.
Authorities found the overturned car about 1:50 a.m. in the intersection of West Live Oak Avenue and Las Tunas Drive, Arcadia Police Sgt. Dan Crowther said. The car appeared to have crashed into a concrete retaining wall, he said.
“For some reason, the car lost control,” Crowther said.
When firefighters arrived, they found three people inside the car were dead, he said. Firefighters were only able to extricate one survivor.
The survivor was taken to a hospital, and their condition was not immediately known, Crowther said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
