Man calls cops after his Jell-O is stolen from office fridge
It’s a food crime that’s happened to all of us: You put your favorite snack into the office fridge and come back that afternoon, only to find someone has stolen it! Then you spend the rest of the day eyeing everyone in the cubicles around you, trying to figure out who went from colleague to petty criminal in a trip to the kitchen.
Or, if you’re a certain Pennsylvania man whose Jell-O was stolen recently, you just call the cops. A 39-year-old man apparently had his strawberry-flavored Jell-O snack stolen from the refrigerator in his workplace break room. He then called the cops to report a crime, according to The Smoking Gun.
“The employee continued that this was not the first time that his food had been stolen from the refrigerator,” read the report filed with the Upper Macungie Township Police Department.
You’ve got to hand it to this guy for trying to do something other than pout about his stolen Jell-O. According to the report, the incident is still under investigation.
