For the discreet imbiber: Drink Bag’s purse with a secret spout

Finding ways to smuggle alcohol into areas it shouldn’t be in, or where it’s ridiculously overpriced, is a common problem. Sometimes, when you’re sitting at an event, or perhaps in a movie theater, you may find yourself thinking, “This would be so much better with a glass of wine.”

A U.K.-based outfit, the Drink Bag Co., is attempting to alleviate the problem. It makes large bags specifically for hiding bottles. Each comes with a secret spout that allows you to pour your drink straight from the bag and into a glass without ever revealing your bottle of alcohol.

According to the company website, the bags were created as a way for owners to bring their own wine to something it calls “charity walks.” But if you think about it, the possibilities for this bag are endless. Long walks on the beach, holiday shopping, a picnic ... you get the picture.

The bags’ exteriors are made of a wipeable, soft moleskin textured PVC material. The interiors feature a diamond-patterned lining with a detachable divider with room for wine glasses, cutlery, etc.

The bags are for sale on the Drink Bag Co. website for around $74.
