Katy Perry, Sophia Bush and more at ShopBazaar Coachella party
Katy Perry, Sophia Bush, Julianne Hough, director and actor Eli Roth and more stepped away from the Coachella Music and Arts Festival grounds Friday to fete ShopBazaar, Harper’s Bazaar’s editor-run e-commerce site. The Gene Autry pool at the Parker Palm Springs hotel was transformed into a desert oasis with flowing Champagne, bikinis and shopping.
Harper’s Bazaar fashion market and accessories director Nicole Fritton and HapersBazaar.com director Joyann King put together a ShopBazaar pop-up shop at the pool. Partygoers could browse the editor-curated collection of Madison Los Angeles clothing and accessories throughout the Coachella weekend.
J. Brand cut-off black shorts, black and white patterned Alexander Wang shorts and Shashi bracelets were among items featured at the store.
People jumped in and out of the pool and danced to DJ Mia Moretti’s beats. Moretti, one of the most festively-dressed attendees, sported three headbands in her elaborately braided hair. She revealed that “one was Fendi, one was from the airport in San Antonio, Texas” and that she “got dressed in the car on the way over.”
Bush shopped the pop-up in a sleeveless dress and Monika Chang metallic gold oxfords and Perry in a floral-print dress was spotted hanging out with Hough in cut-off denim by the pool.
The ShopBazaar website was launched in October and the pop-up shop debuted at Art Basel in Miami in December.
