Tim and Eric back to Adult Swim with ‘Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories’
Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim and Zach Galifianakis star in “Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories: Haunted House.”
Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim are already Adult Swim legends thanks to their series “Tom Goes to the Mayor” and “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job.” But the champions of bizarre comedy are looking to enhance that reputation with their return show, “Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories.”
The new series, which will have its official debut in 2014, will last a quarter-hour and delve into the worlds of fantasy and the unknown. Yes, even more than the already surreal “Awesome Show.”
To give fans a taste of the upcoming series, a special will air on Adult Swim on Halloween night. And, appropriately, it’s Halloween-related.
FALL TV 2013: Watch the trailers
“Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories: Haunted House,” which guest stars Zach Galifianakis, takes the guys to the haunted mansion of their grandfather, where they have to live for the rest of their lives if they want to earn their sizable inheritance.
The three guys seem to be channeling a Three Stooges vibe for this episode, which features lots of spooky sounds and spanking.
Production on the regular series will begin in February.
