Beloved attic-dwellers Jesse and Becky Katsopolis, played by John Stamos and Lori Loughlin on the 1990s sitcom, appear to still be going strong in the Netflix revival, “Fuller House.”
When Uncle Jesse sang "Forever" to Aunt Becky on "Full House," he really meant it.
Beloved attic-dwellers Jesse and Becky Katsopolis, played by John Stamos and Lori Loughlin on the 1990s sitcom, appear to still be going strong in the Netflix revival, "Fuller House."
The actors teased to the golden couple's long-lasting marriage on social media Monday, posting a snapshot from a table read that touted wedding bands and hand-holding. Have mercy!
'FULL HOUSE': What has the cast been up to?
"Becky and Jesse together Forever. #FullerHouse. #Netflix," Stamos wrote on Instagram.
Loughlin echoed the sentiment with her own tweet: "Jesse and Becky ride again! #FullerHouse #Netflix," she wrote.
Their costar Bob Saget also got in on the social media action, showcasing Jesse's leather jacket-clad back and his TV daughter Candace Cameron Bure in another photo.
Stamos, who will star in fall's Fox comedy "Grandfathered," serves as an executive producer on "Fuller House," which is set to air in 2016. The new take centers on widowed and pregnant DJ Tanner (Bure), who already has two kids calling on her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) to help her raise them.
The actors and producers have been busy promoting the show on social media, hinting at possible plot points and guest stars.
Other original cast members on the call sheets include Saget, Dave Coulier and Scott Weinger, who will reprise their roles of family patriarch Danny Tanner, resident comedian Joey Gladstone and DJ's high school sweetheart Steve Hale, respectively.
Co-creator Jeff Franklin revealed that the cast and crew shot their first episode in front of a live audience on Saturday -- a day after Stamos' returned to Twitter after a reported stint in rehab.
"Tonight we taped the first ep of fuller house. 29 years after taping the first full house. So fun. So surreal. So blessed. Thanks FH fans!!!" Franklin tweeted.
Coulier also shared a moment from the cast's post-show dinner.
"First #fullerhouse in the can! Dinner after a great day on set. @jodietweetin @candacecbure @andreabarber #cutitout" he wrote.
