John Stamos is back, healthy after reported rehab stint: ‘Took a month to take care of things’
John Stamos is back with a fighting spirit after a reported stint in rehab.
The “Full House” alum tweeted his return on Friday by posting a photo of himself training with a punching bag on the social media site.
“I’m back! Took a month to take care of things. Healthy. Feeling grateful for the love & support of family & friends,” wrote the 51-year-old, whose T-shirt is an homage to his early-career “General Hospital” alter ego.

The actor reportedly checked himself into residential program rehab program earlier this month for substance-abuse treatment.
The revelation followed the “Necessary Roughness” and “Glee” guest star’s June 12 arrest in Beverly Hills on suspicion of DUI and subsequent hospital treatment. A hearing in that case is scheduled for Sept. 11.
Stamos’ release comes just in time for him to gear up for the promotional tour for his new comedy, “Grandfathered,” which premieres on Fox in late September.
