Host Chris Carter will unveil the track during the “This Week in Beatle News” segment, he told Pop & Hiss.

He said he couldn’t share details about the performance other than to say it features the ex-Beatle “and some very special guests.”
Carter said McCartney’s representatives told him that he wanted to premiere the cut on the program billed as “America’s longest-running Beatles show” devoted to the music of the Fab Four and its members’ solo careers. The show airs Sundays from 9 a.m. to noon.
McCartney has had a busy week, appearing Wednesday at Madison Square Garden in New York City for “121212: The Concert for Sandy Relief” telethon that has raised tens of millions of dollars to aid recovery efforts following Superstorm Sandy’s devastating sweep through New York and New Jersey last month.
The event featured McCartney and his own band as well as a collaboration with the surviving members of Nirvana: Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smears.
