Academy Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin will perform in American Sign Language during the anthem, according to the report.

Earlier on Tuesday it was announced that the singer, who is in the midst of a major comeback, will pay tribute to iconic rock provocateur David Bowie during the Grammys. Chic’s Nile Rodgers, who produced Bowie’s hit 1983 album, “Let’s Dance,” will serve as music director for Gaga’s tribute, which will cover at least three or four of Bowie’s songs.

Gaga’s Super Bowl performance continues a winning streak for the singer in the ashes of her last solo album, 2013’s “Artpop,” which was widely panned.

She collaborated with Tony Bennett for an album of jazz standards called “Cheek to Cheek,” which debuted at No. 1 upon its release in 2014 and went on to win a Grammy. She performed at the Academy Awards last year with a medley in celebration of the 50th anniversary of “The Sound of Music,” and her television debut in Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story: Hotel” yielded a surprise win at the Golden Globes last month.

Gaga’s resilient rock ballad “Til It Happens to You” from “The Hunting Ground” is nominated for both a Grammy and an Oscar.
