Kelly Osbourne seizure on E! show prompts tweet from hospital
Kelly Osbourne’s seizure hasn’t stopped the “Fashion Police” host from tweeting about her ailment from her hospital bed.
“Thank U all 4 UR beautiful well wishes yes I did have a seizure they are just trying to figure out why?” she confirmed late Thursday, linking to a close-up photo of an IV needle in her tattooed arm.
The lavender-haired daughter of Brit rocker Ozzy Osbourne and “The Talk” alum Sharon Osbourne suffered a 30-second seizure Thursday while taping her E! show. She told her co-host, Melissa Rivers, that she wasn’t feeling well before collapsing on the set. According to reports, there was an EMT in the audience who came to her aid and the commentator was rushed to a local hospital shielded in white sheets.

After peroforming tests and confirming she had had a seizure, doctors deemed the 28-year-old “awake, alert and in stable condition,” according to her rep. As a precautionary measure, Osbourne spent the night at the hospital for observation.
Rivers appeared on “Extra” Thursday evening and summed up what happened: “She fainted. Everything’s fine. We love her to death. Our family’s still intact,” she said.
“She fell and she passed out. She’s up and she’s fine … we just said go home,” Melissa Rivers’ mother and “Fashion Police” maven Joan Rivers added.
Kelly Osbourne’s family, which was profiled on the MTV reality series “The Osbournes,” has had its share of health issues. Her mother successfully battled colon cancer and later underwent a double mastectomy when she learned she carried a gene for breast cancer. Kelly’s brother Jack Osbourne announced that he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in June 2012.
Kelly Osbourne is no stranger to injury as she reportedly sprained her ankle last month to avoid falling into a public a toilet and in 2011 cracked her head open while dancing at a club in Miami.
The Ministry wishes her a speedy recovery.
