Alec Baldwin and wife, Hilaria, are having a baby girl
Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, will be having a baby girl this summer.
The “30 Rock” alum and his yoga instructor wife made the news public Wednesday to “Extra,” where Hilaria serves as a lifestyle special correspondent.
“Alec and I are overjoyed that we are going to be welcoming a little girl into our lives,” she said. She later tweeted, “So happy about our little girl! Thank you all for the happy wishes xoxo.”

“Thank you to everyone for their good wishes re @hilariabaldwin,” the SAG Award-winning actor tweeted early Friday.
That means his 17-year-old daughter, Ireland, whom he had with ex-wife Kim Basinger, will have a sister. Alec and Hilaria tied the knot last June and announced the baby news in February after she found out two days before Christmas that she was pregnant.
Baldwin, however, was hoping for a little boy so that he could name him Massimo.
“It’s a lovely name,” his bride said on the “Rachael Ray Show” before she learned the gender. “I just don’t know. That’s a very big name for a very little baby.”

But it seems they aren’t in a rush to name their baby girl.
“I think you have to actually have to look at it once it pops out and say, ‘Who are you? What is your name?’” she added. She did say then that she thought their child would be a boy.
But since the 54-year-old actor and his wife -- 26 years his junior -- have two female dogs at home, he’s going to be surrounded by some major estrogen.
