‘Gossip Girl’s’ Leighton Meester, ‘OC’s’ Adam Brody dating, xoxo!
Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are dating — OMG! Someone alert Gossip Girl!
Yes, the teen drama stars, she of the recently wrapped “Gossip Girl” and he of the long-canceled “The OC,” have been dating for several weeks and were recently photographed together, Us Weekly first reported.
Pardon us, but: Blair Waldorf + Seth Cohen = <3! Xoxo!
A pic was snapped of Brody, 33, leaving Meester’s L.A. home Wednesday. The couple met on the set of their 2011 dramedy, “The Oranges,” where they hung out occasionally during shooting, the mag said.
“They were always close and friendly,” the source said.
But we want to pretend that Brody’s ex and “OC” costar Rachel Bilson, who stars in the CW’s “Hart of Dixie,” introduced them. Or maybe Josh Schwartz, who produced “Gossip Girl” and “The OC,” was involved. Our teen soap opera crossover imaginations are running wild!
People also confirmed the news, but reps for the actors are keeping it tight lipped.
Meester has previously dated “Joan of Arcadia” actor Aaron Himelstein, but the two broke up over the holidays. Brody was most recently linked to “Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist” director Lorene Scafaria.
Meester will next star in the crime drama “God Only Knows” with Harvey Keitel and Ben Barnes. Brody will appear with Amanda Seyfried in “Lovelace” and star in “Welcome to the Jungle” with Jean-Claude Van Damme.
