‘Deadpool’ sketches in Comic-Con treasure hunt
Marvel Comics antihero Deadpool is coming to Comic-Con, but good luck finding him.
"Deadpool" co-creator Rob Liefeld will turn the the annual pop culture gathering into an epic treasure hunt, hiding 24 sketches of the Merc with a Mouth around the San Diego Convention Center before and after the convention, which runs Thursday through Sunday.
The stunt will celebrate the character's 24th anniversary, and will also serve to promote the upcoming film version of "Deadpool," with Ryan Reynolds reprising the role he first played in 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."

Liefeld explained his dastardly Comic-Con plans to SlashFilm, saying, "I want to give something back to the tremendous fan following Deadpool has enjoyed since I introduced him in the pages of New Mutants #98!"
To that end, Liefeld will stash unique Deadpool sketches outside the convention center and the surrounding Gas Lamp area for lucky fans to discover.
But it won't be easy. Fans will have to stay glued to their smartphones in order to own a piece of history.
"I'm also going to be utilizing clues through various websites during the show to make it more interactive," Liefeld explained. "Fans are encouraged to follow all my social media outlets on Twitter, Instagram and Periscope to get all the info surrounding the sketches and the times and clues surrounding their whereabouts."
