Taylor Swift, Tom Hiddleston cut to the chase, bring their parents into the loop early on
Oh, to be able to read Taylor Swift’s parents’ minds when a new guy shows up to say hello.
The “Shake It Off” singer introduced man friend Tom Hiddleston to her mom and dad last Thursday in Nashville, where the “Avengers” actor, 35, and Swift, 26, were spending time together.
(Is it just us, or are there some white knuckles going on in this photo of the couple? Probably just us.)
According to E! News, Hiddleston didn’t join Swift and her folks for lunch, but joined them afterward for an introduction.
The stay in the U.S. has also included some cuddle time at a Selena Gomez concert, People reported. That was cuddle time between Taylor and Tom, not Dad and Mom, of course.
Hiddleswift kept the ball rolling too. On Friday, across the pond, it was Swift showing up for an introduction to his mom, Diana. Quite the full agenda, these two kids.
And to think, less than a year ago TSwift was visiting with Calvin Harris’ parents, and in December her parents were hanging out with the couple to celebrate her birthday.
Harris — real name Adam Wiles — broke up with the pop star sometime in May, and she was off smooching Hiddleston in extremely well-composed paparazzi photos out of Rhode Island just a couple of weeks later. After the pictures hit online, 32-year-old Harris purged his Instagram of 15 months’ worth of TSwift stuff and unfollowed her and her brother.
When recently asked about his ex-girlfriend’s new relationship, the DJ took the high road. “It’s all good, it’s all good,” Harris said, according to TMZ. “She’s doing her thing.”
