‘Spring Breakers’ trailer: What has Selena Gomez nervous?

For anyone who thought “Spring Breakers” with Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens was going to be just another teen teeny-bikini comedy, the trailer out Thursday is quite a wakeup call.

“I’m a little nervous about it,” Gomez told MTV, “but honestly it’s a right step for me. I’m really proud of it. I think that as an actress it really challenged me and all the other actresses are also trying to prove themselves. So, it was just really really fun.”

Still, she said, “People will be a little shocked, I think.”

Heck, we’re just shocked by James Franco in those cornrows. See ‘em in the trailer, above.
