“It started to get hard with both of their schedules,” a source told E! “They remain on good terms.”
The two reportedly went their separate ways either in late January or early February. Their relationship status came into question when Dobrev attended the Super Bowl solo earlier this month and later celebrated Valentine’s Day with her girlfriends.
Dobrev, 27, and Stowell, 30, made their relationship red-carpet official when Dobrev joined the “Whiplash” actor for the premiere of “Bridge of Spies” in October, just before going into adorable overdrive when they publicly copped to not following each other on Twitter.

On Tuesday, the brunet beauty was spotted out with “Gossip Girl” alum Chace Crawford, 30, raising questions that she already had moved on to a new man, E! reported. She and the “Blood & Oil” actor arrived at Villa Lounge bar in West Hollywood and then made their way to the Bootsy Bellows nightclub.
The CW alums have hung out a few times before, but a source told E! News that they’re just friends.
You know, really, really good-looking friends.
