Lindsay Lohan fights with mom after NYC club night; cops called
Is New York bringing out the fighter in Lindsay Lohan? Police were called to her childhood home in Long Island on Wednesday morning after the actress and mom Dina Lohan had a heated argument following a night out clubbing until last call.
The disagreement, which started during a 4 a.m. limo ride home, finally resulted in a 911 call regarding a domestic disturbance a while later, according to Nassau County police.
Police did not release details on the subject of the argument, but a source reportedly close to Lindsay told the New York Daily News that the fight started over whether the limo would go to Lilo’s hotel or head to Dina’s place. Also allegedly at issue: an unpaid loan Lindsay had made to her mom.
Sources reportedly close to Lindsay told TMZ a few more details, like mom was allegedly “wasted” and wanted the limo to go to her home instead of the Manhattan hotel because she didn’t want to pay for a taxi out to Long Island.
“The police responded, and no further police action was taken ...,” a police spokeswoman told the Daily News, adding that there were no injuries and no complaints. “There is nothing else we can do.”
An investigation revealed “no criminality,” a police spokesman told the Associated Press, which had Lohan’s rep declining to comment.
According to TMZ, Lindsay sustained a scratch on her leg during the brouhaha, along with a broken bracelet.
Mother and daughter had been hanging out at a club in the same hotel where the 26-year-old last month allegedly hit a guy with her car and was then arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident, the website said. Lindsay called police to her hotel the last weekend in September after allegedly arguing in the wee hours with a guest over photos that may have been taken surreptitiously.
Hey, at least she’s not driving.
