Barron Hilton beatdown: Dust settles around Lindsay, Paris, Ray

After all the buzz Monday around that Barron Hilton beatdown, allegedly by Lindsay Lohan pal-of-a-pal Ray LeMoine over the weekend in Miami, it seems Lohan is, at this point, not part of the investigation at all.

“[W]e are not investigating Lindsay Lohan,” Miami police Sgt. Bobby Hernandez told Celebuzz on Monday. “Lindsay Lohan’s name was never mentioned. If she had orchestrated it, we would have been told. And we didn’t receive that information on the scene.”

But that doesn’t mean she’s not part of the apparent feud.

Paris Hilton was, according to TMZ, spotted at a Jay Z concert in L.A. with one Brandon Davis -- a known Lohan enemy since 2006 after his notorious “fire crotch” rant about the “Mean Girls” actress. We can’t repeat the whole rant, which included references to body odor and LiLo’s financial situation, but use your imagination and you’ll get the idea. Hilton was there with Davis during the rant, cracking up, the website noted.

Also Monday, LeMoine told his (lengthy and interesting, if you care about a scene like Art Basel) side of the story in a post on the website Vocativ.com (hat tip to Gossip Cop, which boiled it down).

LeMoine describes how he met up with Lohan over the course of the Art Basel festival and then talks about waking up Friday morning and asking party people to leave the leased Star Island mansion where he was staying. He didn’t know who Barron Hilton was, he said, until the hotel heir, upon being asked to bail, asked and then answered the question, “Do you know who my sisters are?”

“Barron got in my face and wouldn’t shut up about his stupid family. Eventually things got so heated that he pushed me. And that’s when the alleged assault, which, of course, I deny, took place. (I imagine he wouldn’t have even gotten cut if it wasn’t for those stupid glasses.)”

He says it was Paris who alerted TMZ to the goings-on. He also said he ran into Nicky Hilton at a nightclub later -- she didn’t know who he was -- and asked her how her brother was doing. She said fine, just a few scratches, according to LeMoine.

“So now I’m down in the Florida Keys,” he writes, “like some Jim Harrison character on the lam, waiting out this storm of stupidity.”

Barron Hilton, meanwhile, has failed to get back with cops to finish his interview about the imbroglio, TMZ said. And without more from the victim, apparently, police can’t arrest anyone.
