Selena Gomez lets F-bomb fly at Jingle Ball concert
Selena Gomez slipped an F-bomb into her set during KIIS-FM’s annual Jingle Ball concert in Los Angeles due to some frustration over sound problems.
Audio and microphone malfunctions rattled the former Disney star and eventually led to her walking off stage Friday night at Staples Center.
“Sorry, the sound isn’t working!” Gomez told the crowd, according to Us Weekly and an amateur video shot at the concert. “Are you guys having a good night? I promise, a lot cooler people are gonna come out tonight. Is it OK if I perform two more songs and you guys can get to it?”

“I have to thank you guys so much for allowing me to be able to perform the music that I love,” the 21-year-old continued while fixes were supposedly being made. “And I have to say that before you guys go on to the people that you care about, I really appreciate you supporting everything that I do. So this next song is the first song I had hit No. 1, and it’s called ‘Come & Get It.’”
The singer, who wore a brown bobbed wig with blunt bangs, dark lipstick and a red and black lace costume for the occasion, reportedly promised to sing another song after “Come & Get It,” but left the stage instead.
“She for sure said ‘what the ...,’” one concertgoer told E! News. The lights were reportedly down when Gomez made the F-word slip, but “You could hear it crystal clear,” the concert goer added. That account was corroborated by another video posted to YouTube.

Gomez was the first of several artists to experience sound trouble at the annual show, according to a live review from our sister blog, Pop & Hiss.
Ariana Grande fared the worst, however, apologizing to the crowd: “I’m sorry the mix was off the entire time,” she said. “At least you know I’m not tracked,” Pop & Hiss said.
In other Jingle Ball news, Miley Cyrus twerked on Santa. That’s one way to land on the naughty list, we suppose.
