Lady Gaga unable to walk from concert injury, cancels tour dates
Lady Gaga, unable to walk after an injury she suffered at a show, is pretty “heartsick” about the whole thing.
Mother Monster unleashed a stream of apologetic tweets Tuesday afternoon telling of her synovitis, an inflammation of the joints, that resulted from an injury she’s been hiding from her staff and has caused a cancellation of two shows in Chicago, one in Detroit and one in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The singer was left immobile after a concert in Montreal on Monday.
It is unclear what the actual injury is.
“There’s an unfortunate announcement coming out right now, concerning myself and the Born This Ball. Im so sorry. I barely know what to say,” the singer first tweeted.

“I’ve been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I’ve been praying it would heal”
“I hid it from my staff, I didn’t want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can’t,” she wrote.
Gaga, embroiled in legal proceedings with her former assistant over claims of unpaid overtime, had been performing as part of her “Born This Way Ball Tour.”
“To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. Im devasted & sad”
“It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and Im sorry,” she added.
The rest of the tour is expected to continue as scheduled, and makeup dates for the missed shows will be announced later, the Associated Press reports.
“I would do anything for you. I will hopefully heal as soon as possible and be at 500% again, which is what you deserve,” a statement on the singer’s website said.
Fans are advised to hang on to their tickets to get refunds at points of purchase.
