Kristen Stewart earns $500,000 for charity with 15-minute chat

And here we thought we had some hard-core Kristen Stewart fans following us on Twitter — turns out one Middle Eastern prince was willing to donate a half-million bucks to charity for a 15-minute chat with the “On the Road” actress.

The story comes from mega-producer Harvey Weinstein, who helped organize 12-12-12: The Concert for Sandy Relief and was at the Toronto International Film Festival on Monday to screen the documentary “12-12-12.” The concert reportedly helped raise at least $50 million in storm relief money for those affected on the East Coast, administered by the Robin Hood Relief Fund.

At a discussion following the Toronto screening (via the New York Times), Weinstein revealed that in the interest of disaster relief he had persuaded Stewart to accept an offer from the unnamed prince, who said he’d donate big bucks if she’d just talk with him. The “Twilight” actress wanted to know how much, Weinstein said, so he went to work negotiating with the guy.

The prince supposedly named a price, which Weinstein boosted to $500,000, to be delivered in advance. The Madison Square Garden location was set via venue Chairman James Dolan, Weinstein said, and voila, done deal.

“And Kristen sits with the guy for 15 minutes,” Weinstein said.

Bada-bing, bada-boom. Bada-bucks.

Only from Harvey, right? And thanks to KStew too.
