The absolute lack of denials in the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal continued Wednesday with “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders issuing his own apology to his wife and two young children.

“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” Sanders, 41, said in a statement to People magazine, which also had 22-year-old Stewart’s apology exclusively. “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart.

“I am praying that we can get through this together.”

A story alleging a “massive makeout session” between the two broke in Us Weekly on Tuesday night.

According to his IMDb profile, Sanders is up to direct a possible “Huntsman” sequel, a gig that could now prove awkward. He’s married to Liberty Ross, with whom he has and has two young kids and who played the mother of a young Snow White in the first installment, which according to Box Office Mojo has made more than $380 million worldwide to date.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga of all people put in her two cents’ worth Wednesday, tweeting, “geez this kirstew rob stuff is brutal. makes me sad the way press acts. hope they’re ok.”

And reactions from KStew and Robsten fans and others on Twitter were running from heartbroken to hostile, with many stops in between.

“I just thought she was cool,” said Jillian Striffler of New York, noting in a YouTube video that she didn’t consider Stewart or any other celeb to be a role model. “She’s a brilliant actress.... I thought that she was above that, and I didn’t think that she would have these stupid scandals ...”

“I thought she took her career a little more seriously than that.”
