Amid split, Kris Jenner says she regrets Robert Kardashian divorce
Kris Jenner says she regrets divorcing her first husband Robert Kardashian, the late O.J. Simpson defense lawyer and father to her children, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob Kardashian Jr.
The reality TV mom’s revelation comes just a few days after the announcement that she and second husband Bruce Jenner were living separately after 22 years of marriage and were much “happier” having separate homes -- she in Calabasas and he in Malibu.
“The one regret, if I had to do it over, would be divorcing Robert Kardashian,” Jenner, 57, said in the latest issue of New You magazine (via People). “But then there wouldn’t have been Kendall and Kylie, so that’s the way I look at it.”
Ouch. Sorry, Bruce.

The so-called momager married Kardashian in 1978 and later finalized her divorce from him in 1991, the same year she married the Olympic gold medalist with whom she has two daughters, Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 16. The lawyer died in September 2003 after a battle with esophageal cancer.
“Everything happens for a reason, and we learn from our mistakes,” Jenner added. “I thought I was so smart when I was young; I was fearless.”
She added that love is “non-negotiable” in her life.
“Love. Love is everything,” she said. “We go in and out of love in our lifetime. I don’t like change… even though I love change. I love really hard, and when someone is in my life they are in my life forever.”

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, who spent the summer hosting her fledgling talk show “Kris,” also said that she is very similar to her famous children.
“Khloé is exactly how I am in the way she likes to nest and cook; the way she is with everything in her home -- even the way she makes a bed and sets a table,” Jenner said.
She added that she and Kim’s “personalities are very much alike” and her son Rob “is identical to his father, Robert -- they look alike, act alike and have the same mannerisms. It’s an amazing reminder of what an amazing dad Robert was. He was a great husband and a good person.”

The momager also revealed that after having her sixth child Kylie at 41, she battled with gestational diabetes and gained 80 pounds.
“It was really difficult. After that, I decided I was done having kids. I was able to have my sixth that I had always dreamed about, and I just closed up shop. So, Bruce, my husband, got a vasectomy. He was great about it; he didn’t care.”
Jenner also said she wasn’t sure what changed in her relationship with Jenner that caused their separation.
“I don’t think it was the pace of life. We’ve always gone 150 miles per hour, and Bruce has more energy than anybody. I just think it has evolved. I really can’t put my finger on it. We’re just happier now,” she told People. “There was definitely a shift in the way we treated each other. We will always be the best of friends, because that’s the dynamic of our relationship. We definitely get along as a family and with the kids; we’re so connected in that way. We love each other.”
