Kim Kardashian losing baby weight, explaining origin of ‘North’
Kim Kardashian is still in hermit mode as she works on getting back into pre-pregnancy shape.
The usually camera-ready star of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and its many E! offshoots has been tucked away since the June 15 birth of her baby with rapper Kanye West.
Kardashian, 32, is said to have “lost a lot of her baby weight,” a source close to the reality starlet told People. “She’s feeling great and looking forward to getting back in shape.”

Kardashian is living at her mother’s Hidden Hills home. There, Kris Jenner’s personal chef is making Kim’s meals and light and healthy snacks, the mag said.
The new mom is also “settling into a routine with her daughter,” the source added.
“She’s happy with the way she looks but she knows she still has a way to go to get her pre-baby body totally back.”
On her reality show, Kardashian became nostalgic about her pre-baby body and often posted photos of her fit and toned figure on Instagram during her pregnancy.

Kardashian will reportedly debut her post-baby body this summer on her mom’s newly launched talk show “Kris,” according to Us Weekly.
“She wants to show up like Heidi Klum and have everyone marvel at how fast she lost the weight,” a source told the mag. As of July 18, Kardashian was said to have already lost 20 of the 50 pounds she gained during her term.
This Sunday’s episode of “KUWTK” will also shed some more light on her unique baby-name selection, which seems to have originated from a conversation with stepbrother Brody Jenner and sister Kourtney Kardashian, already mom of two, during their family vacation in Greece.
“I’m feeling North,” Jenner said. “North West.”
“Me too!” her sister Kourtney added. “It’s pretty and cool and it’s not just like tomboy-ish. It’s just good.”
Though she would’ve “kind of” liked to have her baby girl’s name start with the letter K, Kardashian said she had her reservations because she didn’t want her new family to be known as KKK, referencing the white supremacy group the Ku Klux Klan. (Obviously not acknowledging that the combo of herself, Kourtney and Khloe had already hit that nail on the head, or that her boyfriend had a single called “Black Skinhead.”)
“Our kid, if it’s a K, then they’ll call us the KKK,” she said.
Brody seemed to think that was “a little crazy.”
So North it is, and apparently that’s not crazy at all...
