Johnny Depp, Amber Heard pack on PDA at ‘3 Days to Kill’ premiere

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are packing on the PDA since news of their reported engagement broke in January.

The celebrity pair stepped out for the premiere of Heard’s latest film, “3 Days to Kill,” at the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood on Wednesday.

The McG-directed action flick stars Kevin Costner as a dying CIA agent trying to reconnect with his teenage daughter, played by Hailee Steinfeld. Heard plays a femme fatale FBI agent who offers Costner’s character a mystery drug in exchange for a three-day killing spree.

“I would rather shoot the gun and save the girl or save the guy or be hated than be cute, sweet and adorable and loved,” Heard, 27, told E! News of her character, Vivi DeLay. “It’s way more fun .... I always fight for those characters.”

“I only make a few movies a year because for every one that I take, I’ve said ‘no thanks’ to many romantic movies where I bat my eyelashes and catch the bouquet,” she added.

Depp, 50, joined his lady, whom he reportedly proposed to over the holidays, wearing his signature wide-rimmed hat and thick-framed eyeglasses. He stole a kiss on the red carpet, sweetly smooching Heard on the cheek before they made their way into the theater. Heard wore a plunging V-neck dress with a thigh-high slit for the occasion and was photographed wearing an engagement ring, though the fiercely private couple has yet to publicly confirm an upcoming union. “We can’t get in the way of love,” Costner told People of the couple. “And that’s what they found. How lucky for them!”

The comely couple met on the set of the gonzo flick “The Rum Diary” back in 2011 and have been romantically linked since the beginning of 2012, shortly after Depp’s split from longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, with whom he has two adolescent children, Lily-Rose and Jack. Heard also ended her four-year relationship with ex-girlfriend Tasya van Ree that year.
