Jodie Sweetin files for separation from third husband
Jodie Sweetin of “Full House” fame has filed for legal separation from her third husband, according to reports.
The former child star married Morty Coyle in March 2012 and is citing irreconcilable differences for the split, TMZ reports.
Sweetin, 31, is seeking full custody of the couple’s 2-year-old daughter, Beatrix, and is asking to be awarded their 2000 Toyota Avalon. She filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, according to Us Weekly.

The actress is also asking that she and Coyle split a $200 Kohl’s credit card balance, the site said. (As Stephanie Tanner would say, “How rude!”)
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton reached out to Sweetin on Twitter on Tuesday, sending the actress “good vibes” post-split, to which she replied: “:) thank you... It’s never easy!”
Sweetin married Coyle in a private Beverly Hills ceremony and only announced their nuptials about a year after they took place. The actress first married Shaun Holguin in 2002; they later split in 2006. She is also mom to daughter Zoie Herpin, 5, whom she had with her second ex-husband Cody Herpin. She was married to him from 2007 to 2010.

In the past, Sweetin has spoken about her troubles with addiction, specifically with meth, ecstasy and cocaine. She chronicled her struggles in her 2009 memoir “unSweetined,” in which she outlined a time she drove drunk with her first daughter, announced she was clean and sober in the summer 2008 when she wasn’t, and appeared at public events “high as a kite.”
“I was selfish, self-serving, insecure, angry and fearful person living a double life. I covered up my problems by pretending to be happy and saying that everything was fine,” she wrote.
An emergency custody investigation by Herpin finally prompted her to make real changes in late 2008.

“I got sober for good on Dec. 7, 2008. I was flying to L.A. and I ended up taking a bunch of Nyquil and drinking .... When I got home, I got a call that there was an emergency custody investigation because of my drinking. From that day forward, I threw myself into going to AA and avoided people who do blow off their coffee tables.”
Soon after she said: “Life is good. I’m happier than I can remember.”
Sweetin is filming a small Christmas movie called “Defending Santa” with “Lois & Clark” alum Dean Cain.
