Jennifer Aniston talks nudism, Katie Couric on ‘Chelsea Lately’

As Jennifer Aniston makes the promotional rounds for her latest comedy, “We’re the Millers,” in which she plays a stripper, she’s also setting the record straight on a few things.

A) She and fiance Justin Theroux are not nudists, and B) Katie Couric shouldn’t concern herself with Aniston’s personal life.

Appearing on E!’s late-night gabfest “Chelsea Lately,” Aniston joined pal Chelsea Handler in a few off-color conversations.

The first being that Aniston, 44, has taken up her fiance’s nudist lifestyle, according to a magazine article that Handler read to her on the show.

“ ‘Jen’s started to embrace her curves at home since longtime lover, nudist Justin, has persuaded her to join in on the fun,’ ” Handler read. “ ‘She was hesitant at first but now she finds it extremely liberating and they spend entire days at home without any clothes on and even cook naked.’ ”

“What are you reading? Star magazine? Oh, OK. Yes, they’re reliable,” Aniston huffed sarcastically. “We don’t walk around nude, darling. I mean, we do when it’s appropriate.”

But that didn’t stop the sassy Handler from dropping in a few factoids of her own.

“I’ve seen Justin nude, I hope you know that,” Handler said.

“Yeah, well, that’s because you barge into places you shouldn’t be barging into. But he’s comfortable enough in his skin,” Aniston replied.

As to the mag article, Aniston said, “That’s not true. It’s B.S.”

Which brought Handler to another topic: how hard it is to be real-life best friends with the “Friends” alum when everyone wants to know the details of her personal life.

“Katie Couric was asking me on her show about your wedding and I had to act like I didn’t even know you were engaged because I didn’t know that was out,” Handler said. “Then she was like, ‘Well, everyone knows about it!’ So, I felt really stupid.”

“What’s Katie Couric? Is she a legitimate journalist? Is she getting tabloidy? Wasn’t she on the ‘Today’ show?” Aniston asked.

“She was on the ‘Today’ show,” said Handler. “She got a demotion to her own show.”

Whoa. Poor, Katie.

Anyway, earlier this week Aniston also cleared up wedding rumors swirling around her and fiance Theroux.

“We just want to do it when it’s perfect, and we’re not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job,” Aniston told the Associated Press. “And, you know, we already feel married.”

“We have yet to set any dates. There have been no canceled weddings. There have been no postponed weddings,” Aniston said. “There have been no arguments about where to get married. Just clearing all that up.”

“We’re the Millers,” costarring Jason Sudekis, hits theaters Aug. 7.
