Amanda Seyfried tripped up by heels, fans before ‘Letterman’

Amanda Seyfried had a few gaffes as she arrived at the set of “The Late Show With David Letterman” on Tuesday.

The “Lovelace” star stopped to greet fans outside the building and signed photos, magazines and other autograph-ready items. The 27-year-old can be seen on video of the scene getting flustered by the throng bombarding her, one of whom got a rise out of the actress after making an unsavory remark.

“You’re an [unprintable]!” she shouted. “We’re not friends anymore.”

Seyfried, who plays iconic “Deep Throat” porn star Linda Lovelace in the upcoming biopic, went demure for her appearance. The blond bombshell was pretty in pink in a Balmain top and ruffled skirt paired with ultra-high Rupert Sanderson pumps, according to the Daily Mail.

After she was done greeting fans, the actress made her way back to the studio, noticeably wobbling on her sky-high heels along the way. And the grimace on her face was P-R-I-C-E-L-E-S-S.

Seyfried may be great at managing her emotions while acting, but this was a moment of sheer pain that she couldn’t hide. Her mouth dropped open in shock and her nose and eyes crinkled up in pain as she zipped across the street after the mishap. But the pro realized the cameras were fixed on her, collected herself and gave the onlookers a thumbs-up when it was over. In what appears to be the green room, Seyfried shared a frightened photo of herself with Letterman doing his monologue on TV in the background.

“Late Show nerves. #help,” she wrote on Instagram.

Apparently, the actress was consoled by her Australian shepherd dog Finn, whom she brought on the show to wow Letterman with a spectacular hamburger-balancing trick.

Earlier this week, at the New York premiere of “Lovelace,” Seyfried accidentally smeared blue marker onto her forehead as she was signing autographs. As fans behind the velvet rope let out “awwws,” she realized the gaffe and quickly turned to her publicist for help getting it off. The rep’s solution? Lick her thumb and wipe it across her client’s face.

Worst week ever? Not quite. Last March, the actress was mistaken for her “Mean Girls” costar Lindsay Lohan at a Newark airport.
