‘Suburgatory’s’ Jane Levy files for divorce to end brief marriage
“Suburgatory” star Jane Levy has filed for divorce to end her short-lived marriage, according to reports circulating Tuesday.
The actress, 23, who plays a sharp-witted New York City teen transplanted to the suburbs on the ABC comedy series, filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on April 16 to end her short marriage to actor Jaime Freitas.
She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and indicated that she did not want to pay spousal support, according to court documents obtained by E! News.

The “Shameless” alum hasn’t really spoken publicly about their marriage but the documents say that they wed on March 3, 2011, and separated on October 31, 2011 -- which means their separation has lasted more than twice as long as the seven months they were together in their under-the-radar marriage.
She and Freitas have no children together.
Levy recently starred in the horror flick “Evil Dead,” in which she played a heroin addict who turns demonic when her friends sequester themselves with her in a cabin to help her kick the habit.
She is slated to appear next in director Bharat Nalluri’s thriller “In a Dark Place,” which is set for 2014 release.
