Eva Longoria sends Twitter love to ex Tony Parker’s Spurs
Eva Longoria may have ended her marriage with Tony Parker, but that doesn’t mean she’s ended her relationship with the San Antonio Spurs.
Now an innocuous tweet from the “Desperate Housewives” alum has her followers questioning their current relationship while gossip mills rehash their tumultuous split.
It even got a reaction from ESPN college basketball analyst Dick Vitale.
“Go Spurs Go! I say Spurs in 5!!!!” the actress and longtime Spurs fan tweeted following the team’s win and Parker’s 21-point scoring game Thursday night during Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat.

Parker, 31, made an amazing shot that helped his team defeat the Heat 92-88 in Miami.
“It was a crazy play. I thought I lost the ball about three or four times,” the Frenchman said. “At the end I was just trying to get a shot up. It felt good when it left my hand and I was happy when it went in.”
Spurs fans had cheered him on quite a bit, with celebs including Shakira’s fiance Gerard Pique, Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband Kris Humphries, Jaleel White, Gary Payton and Ken Jeong taking to Twitter to share their excitement.
Also Thursday night, Vitale tweeted to Longoria, “Your ex is AWESOME BABY - Mr. Clutch!” -- a missive that set sites like Bleacher Report and Buzzfeed going with commentary about whether it was even remotely cool to compliment a woman on her ex’s performance.
“What’s the big deal ? I just STATED the obvious #RELAX” Vitale followed up on Friday, earning a response from Longoria: “I agree, what’s the big deal? Love Dick V,” she wrote as she retweeted the announcer’s note.
Longoria, 38, filed for divorce in California in November 2010 after three years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” However, it was revealed that the basketball star had allegedly been exchanging flirty text messages -- and perhaps more -- with a teammate’s wife. He filed for divorce two days later in Texas. They finalized their divorce in January 2011.

The divorce put the “Devious Maids” producer through the ringer too, pushing her into depression.
“I got the most compliments because I was so skinny. I was not eating,” she said on “The Dr. Oz Show” last April. “I was depressed. I was sad. My diet was coffee.”
“It was heartbreaking,” she said in an interview with Piers Morgan in June 2011. “I think it was disappointing because I had such an identity in being Mrs. Parker and being a wife, and when that’s taken away from you, you go ‘Who am I?’”
But she insisted that she’d never bad-mouth her ex-husband in public.
“You know, he’s not a bad person, he just wanted something else,” she added. “I don’t hate him for it, I really don’t,” she said. “I would never speak publicly about what happened or why we got divorced because I love him and we still talk, we are still in each other’s lives.”
