Emma Watson spellbinds new man, Oxford rugby’s Matt Janney
Emma Watson has spellbound another one: The “Harry Potter” star reportedly has a new man.
“The Bling Ring” actress, 23, has been spotted smooching and canoodling with Oxford University rugby player Matt Janney while they were vacationing in the Caribbean on Monday.
The new romance apparates just as news broke this week that she and former colleague Will Adamowicz called it quits over the summer.

“They didn’t have a care in the world. Matt was very protective of Emma — often putting his arm around her,” a source told the U.K. Mirror, which reported the budding romance and obtained footage of the couple strolling on the beach.
“He was being a gentleman the whole time. He is clearly very much into her, but then who wouldn’t be, she is one of Hollywood’s hottest stars? They couldn’t stop giggling and smiling the whole time.”
Janney, 21, is a 6-foot-1 fly-half for the university’s team. He is studying Russian at Oxford’s Oriel College, according to the team website. He was reportedly dubbed Oxford’s most eligible bachelor, according to several reports.
Watson, who attended Oxford for a year in 2011, reportedly met Janney after he played a varsity game against rival Cambridge at Twickenham Stadium on Dec. 12, People magazine reported, and attended a post-game victory party at Ping bar.
Up next on Watson’s schedule: An appearance as a presenter at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards and a role in Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah,” starring Russell Crowe as the biblical prophet.
