Cameron Diaz gushes over husband Benji Madden on Instagram
Cameron Diaz is a proud wife. On Saturday the star took a break to give a loving shout out to her husband, Benji Madden. After celebrating more than a year and a half of marriage with Madden, the normally private actress took her followers by surprise with a gushy post.
Diaz, 43, shared a video of her husband’s pop punk band, Good Charlotte. This weekend, the now-20-year-old band released their first album, “Youth Authority,” in almost six years. Accompanying the video was a lengthy caption, authored by Diaz, in admiration of the 37-year-old lead guitarist and vocalist.
“One of my favorite things about being married, is how much pride I take in my husband … one day it might be how generous and giving, another how gentle and thoughtful … And [every] single day I am so incredibly proud of his integrity as a human being,” she wrote.
Diaz continued with praise for the band and her husband’s dedication to expressive music. Last year the Good Charlotte front man took a slightly different approach and showed his love for Diaz by getting her name tattooed across his chest.
Good Charlotte released “Youth Authority” on Madden’s independent label, MDDN. Diaz provided the link to the album, which can be found and purchased on iTunes.
