Tony winners 2019: The complete list in every category
The 2019 Tony winners list for the 73rd awards ceremony spotlights multiple wins for “Tootsie,” “Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!,” “The Ferryman” and the big winner of the night, “Hadestown.” Actors Bryan Cranston, Elaine May, Ali Stroker and André De Shields, and director Rachel Chavkin, were also among the winners. Rob Howell of “The Ferryman” and Rachel Hauck of “Hadestown” began the night’s prize parade with wins for scenic design. The nominations were led by the musicals “Hadestown” with 14, “Ain’t Too Proud — The Life and Times of the Temptations” with 12 and “Tootsie” with 11.
